Programmed are currently looking for skilled Process Workers for our national client for a meat processing site located in Heathwood, QLD.

The Role:

• Operation of various food production machines including but not limited to Band Saw, Cruster, Grinder, Graselli etc
• Using a knife trim fat off meat and or portioning the meat from the bone
• Working in food production environment handling raw meat products such as pork, lamb & beef
• Manual handling where required
• Quality Assurance
• General Hygiene / cleaning processes
• Day & Afternoon Shift on offer - 12 hour shifts for AM, 8 hours shifts for PM
• Complete onsite uniform including boots, provided
• Onsite parking and onsite canteen for your convenience
• Full training provide

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in an food manufacturing environment is mandatory
• Prior experience operating machinery or working on the production line
• Previous experience as a knife hand or similar role
• Ability to fault find
• Willing to work within a cold room environment - 7 degrees
• Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)
• Must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work within a team-based environment
• Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia
