Complete Staff Solutions on behalf of our client are looking for a Field Labourer for local work in the Taree region.

This role will be an ongoing for a period of 6 weeks with a possibility of extension.

The Job:

30+ Hrs per week

Attend briefings provided by Senior Field Rangers and/or Field Coordinators on the activities required to be completed in accordance with job packs provided. Where situations that are novel or not anticipated in the job packs, this role is expected to liaise with the Senior Field Ranger on site or to contact a Field Coordinator for direction.

Operation of equipment such as vehicles (2WD &4WD), have Herbicide spraying expereince - Quikspray units/ rapid spray units

Clean tools and equipment; and reactive maintenance of equipment in the field using basic tools

Provide daily work progress to Senior Field Rangers, Field Coordinators and/or Branch Manager

Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed

Display care and competency when completing all directed activities, follow health and safety procedures, risk assessments and job safety analysis and report workplace hazards, incidents and near misses

Reasonable level of fitness to be able to lift and operate relevant tools/equipment; work on feet throughout the day; walk up/down steep slopes and other activities

Must haves:

Valid driver's Licence

WHS White Card for construction

Valid ChemCert Certificate (NSW)

SSV (Side-by-side vehicle) experience e.g. Polaris

Must have 2 contactable references from past employers

Desirable:

Truck Licence - LR licence or above
