Role Description

**Contract to commence Monday June 9th 2025.

This is a 6-week contract to cover one of our valued team members who will be on annual leave in Europe. You’ll be stepping into a fully booked caseload, continuing treatment plans and providing ongoing support to clients during this time.

The role is primarily exercise-based, with a mix of sessions held in local gyms, hydrotherapy pools, and clients’ homes. You’ll be working across a variety of referral streams, including NDIS, Home Care Packages (HCP), and Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs.

You’ll be fully supported throughout the contract by the Director of Blue Water Physio, who will be available to guide and assist you with any questions or concerns.

There is potential for ongoing work beyond the contract for the right candidate who aligns with our values and team culture.

Qualifications

AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)

Strong clinical knowledge across physical assessment, therapy planning, and evidence-based treatment

Proficient in delivering therapeutic exercise programs and using specialised physiotherapy equipment

Confident in educating clients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and healthy lifestyle habits

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships

Able to work independently and manage a mobile caseload with confidence

Additional certifications (e.g., in hydrotherapy, neurological rehab, or musculoskeletal care) are highly regarded

Experience in related fields such as sports medicine, orthopaedics, or aged care is advantageous

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel between appointments
