The Manager Residential Care (Non-Qualified) is responsible for the management of residential care facilities, promoting sound innovative and responsible casework and community work practice, managing team resources and workloads, quality assuring and quality improvement functions within a team, supervising and supporting the team and liaising with other stakeholders to ensure sound practice standards, providing learning and development opportunities for the team, and convening and chairing planning forums.
The Senior Manager Residential Care (Qualified) is responsible for providing services to children in the CEOs care to ensure the safety of a child and other persons, management of residential care facilities and effective day to day management and operation of the home, managing staff, an Education Officer and other professional support staff in accordance with the Department’s Therapeutic Care framework, providing consultation and advice to Managers Residential Care and ensuring the provision of a safe and caring environment for vulnerable children in residence.
Under our Child Protection Workforce Model, priority will be given to qualified applicants in the first instance to maintain a qualified workforce. Should a qualified applicant not be identified then this selection process will be used to fill the vacancy.
