Sales Consultant – Skirting Board Products & Services
Location: Perth Metro
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 + Commissions + Company Car

About us:
Just Skirting began in 2019 in a humble backyard setup—with a crude table, a 2000w router, a small dust extractor, and a basic paint spray gun—driven by a desire to deliver the best skirting board and installation service in all of Perth. Frustrated by poor customer service and subpar workmanship, we set out with a passion for detail and class. Today, we've outgrown that modest beginning and operate from a 350m² workshop, proudly offering one of the highest quality skirting board services in Perth. About you:

Key responsibilities:
quoting & pricing:
prepare and deliver on site quotes for skirting board products and services while ensuring consistency with our pricing standards.
customer engagement & sales process:
conduct consultations (in-person or virtual) to understand client needs, attend appointments for on-site measurements, present our products professionally, and follow up to convert quotes into sales.
closing sales & achieving targets:
use proven sales techniques to close deals and consistently meet or exceed your sales targets.
relationship management:
build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
collaboration & reporting:
work closely with the sales and operations teams, coordinate with appointment setters, maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress, and provide weekly performance reports.
product sales and marketing:
develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives to promote our skirting board offerings, collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns, monitor market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth.
b2b relationship development:
To establish and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses whose clients may benefit from our skirting board products, with the goal of generating qualified leads and increasing referral-based sales.
Skills & key requirements:
a proven track record in sales (minimum of 5 years’ experience), preferably in product and trade service industries
excellent communication and customer service skills
a strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively about marketing initiatives
strong organizational skills and attention to detail
the ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team
previous experience in a similar role is a plus
