About the role

Airtec heating and airconditioning is seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join our team in Mornington, Victoria. As a Mechanical Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression within our growing company.

What you'll be doing

• Performing skilled plumbing work to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC equipment
• Ensuring all work meets relevant building codes and safety standards
• Providing excellent customer service and communication
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver successful project outcomes

What we're looking for

• Qualified Mechanical Plumber with a minimum of 3 years' experience
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
