About the role

EcoEnergy Australia is seeking a full-time Trade Assistant to join our team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. As a Trade Assistant, you will be an integral part of our operations, supporting our skilled tradespeople in the installation and maintenance of off grid power systems.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting tradespeople with the installation and maintenance of off grid solar power systems
• Preparing work sites, moving materials, and operating power tools and equipment as directed
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
• Performing general labouring duties as required
• Following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or in a similar labouring role
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• A team player with good communication skills
• A valid driver's licence
