We are working with a paper packaging company based in Reservoir, Vic.

About The Role:

They are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals whom they can train as machine operators.

Expectations once identified for the role:

For few weeks you will commence as a Factory Hand in order to assess your pro-activity, interest in learning new tasks, and reliability.
Once you have demonstrated your commitment, then training will commence to operate machines.

1.) Die Cutter Machine Operator

Duties:

Setting up dies for each run.

Feed materials for run.

Operate and monitor die-cutting machine.

Adjust dies as required during the run.

Dismantling dies for previous jobs.

Disposing of dies when run is completed.

Maintain inks and end-quality products.

Basic maintenance and cleaning.

2.) Gluer Operator (No chemical smell as they use water-based glue)

Operate and oversee the folder-gluer machine

Setting up the machine.

Loading of printed cardboard onto the machine

Adjust the machine if required.

Pulling samples to check if the glue has set

Basic maintenance and cleaning.

About YOU:

Must have full working rights and can work on-going (above 6 months) as the job has a view to permanency.

Machine operating experience is a plus.

Factory experience is a must.

Willing to be trained and hard worker.

Physically fit and has the ability to lift to 20 kg.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and perform basic math accurately

Good attention to detail.

Access to own a reliable car.

Can start immediately.
