An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced advisor to join our operation.

3 x Safety Advisors

Positions are FIFO from Perth only, Full-Time Salary on a 8/6 or a 2/2 roster with an immediate start.

Position responsibilities:

Build Safety Culture through engagement and leadership.

Actively promote mentoring and coaching of personnel to establish a sustained safety culture

Work with the leadership team in building accountability and supporting teams

Promote active Risk Management Strategies across various business units

Actively participate in the implementation of the Core Values

Participate in safety inspection processes

Participate in the identification and control of hazards

Respond to site emergencies and maintain a state of operational readiness

Provide direction and guidance to staff and contractors

Maintain legal and other obligations compliance

Support line management to ensure that all safety requirements are adhered to, in compliance with all statutory regulations

Be hands on in supporting contractors meet schedules

Work in a diverse environment.

Knowledge in brownfields/greenfields

Ability to mentor Trainee Safety Advisors

To be considered, desirable skills/competencies:

Relevant competencies/qualifications in Health, Safety and Training

Certificate IV TAE16 in Training and Assessment (highly recommended)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Training within Mining and/or Construction

Demonstrated experience across the key responsibilities for the position

ICAM or equivalent investigations experience

Data analysis, trending & reporting

Current Western Australian “HR” Driver’s Licence

Ability to operate and maintain a 4WD

Be Competent, Confident and Qualified

Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and INX

Confined Space Entry

ICAM Experience

WA drivers licence - HR class

Proven experience to both Open Pit, Underground and Construction

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Efficient time management skills

Experience and knowledge of Mining and Processing Operations

Ability to work autonomously

Competent report writing and presenting

Computer literate: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, INX,
