About the Role: As our Centre Cook, you’ll play a vital part in the health and well-being of the children in our care. This casual position offers flexibility and autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys independent work and wants a meaningful, hands-on role in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve healthy, child-friendly meals for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Follow a set, rotating menu designed by our nutrition team – no planning required!

Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety standards.

Manage food preparation to meet daily service times for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

Adapt meals where required for allergies and dietary requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a similar cook or kitchen-hand role (experience in early childhood or school settings a bonus).

A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.

Current WWCC

Passion for providing healthy meals to growing children.

Availability to work consistently on designated days.
