About the role

Novocastrian Scaffolding & Access Equipment is seeking Multiple experienced and skilled Advanced Scaffolders to join our team in Thornton, NSW. As an Advanced Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of safe, compliant and efficient scaffolding solutions for our rail industry clients. This full-time position will see you working on various locations, collaborating closely with our clients and construction teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Installation of complex scaffolding structures to enable maintenance, construction, and access activities on Road and Rail Bridges

Mentor and oversee the work of junior scaffolders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to scaffolding installations and inspections

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as an Advanced Scaffolder in the Rail and Road industrial sectors

Formal qualifications in Scaffolding - High Risk Card

White Constructions Card

Nationally accredited working at heights

Rail Industry worker induction (preferable)

Worker on Foot induction(preferable)

Forklift licence or experience operating lifting equipment

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans

Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex scaffolding challenges

Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with clients and supervise team members

Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to strict safety protocols

Ability to pass a Pre- Employment medical drug & alcohol tests

Reliable Transportation with a Full NSW Drivers License

Willingness to work/live away Monday to Friday & Some Weekends

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities

Commitment to safety

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
