Join our client, a design, manufacturer and distributor of ecofriendly building products in their warehouse managing the daily orders and stock movement that is inbound and outbound daily!

Our client's catalogue of SKUS can be over sized and delicate to handle. So being a good forklift operator is one part of what we are looking for. Not just forklift there will be plenty of time off the machine so sitting on it should not be assumed! The role requires many more tasks and responsibilities and no two days will be the same.

This role will suit an organised, multi tasker who can control container hire, decanting, stock locations and put away. Order preparations and customer service and not in that order.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage inbound and outbound stock movements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile stock levels.

Process and manage stock, ensuring proper documentation and recording.

Manage container hire / dehire and decant

Coordinate Transport carriers and manage ETA of orders

Investigate damages and stock integrity issues

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency

Minor assembly of products - Cut to size orders with drop saw

Site Quality inspections for auditing purposes

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

Building SKU/ product management

Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proactive and solutions-focused approach to resolving inventory challenges.

Excellent communication skills
