As an Admissions Officer at the University of Melbourne, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the student body of a world-class institution. You'll have the opportunity to assess applications, provide expert advice to prospective students, and contribute to the continuous improvement of admissions processes. Your role will directly impact the lives of future students, ensuring they have a smooth transition into their academic journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess Applications: Process and evaluate a variety of student applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to University entry requirements.
- Provide Expert Advice: Respond to queries from applicants and agents, offering accurate information on admissions procedures and application progress.
- Manage Student Records: Update and maintain the University's student database, process advanced standing applications, and apply credits to study plans.
- Drive Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and documentation of new processes, actively participating in service enhancement initiatives.

You are a detail-oriented professional with excellent administrative skills, a commitment to outstanding customer service, and a passion for contributing to the educational journey of students in higher education.
You may also:
- Have a relevant degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Demonstrate high-level administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess excellent computer skills, particularly in databases and Microsoft applications.
