Part-time (0.6 - 0.8 EFT) | SCHADS 5.1 - 5.3 | 1 Day WFH

• Tradewind is proud to be partnering with a growing organisation that is expanding its support for children, young people, and their families during one of life's most challenging journeys - palliative care. We're seeking two Family Support Practitioners to join their team in Bacchus Marsh and Shepparton.
• These are newly created roles due to organisational growth, offering you a chance to help shape service delivery and make a meaningful difference from day one.
• 💼 About the Role:
• You'll provide compassionate and practical support to families at every stage of their palliative care journey - from diagnosis and treatment, to end of life, bereavement, and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering counselling and therapeutic support programs

Promoting social connection and community engagement

Collaborating closely with volunteers and internal teams to deliver holistic, coordinated care

✅ What You'll Need:

A qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field (Diploma minimum)

A current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle

Strong emotional intelligence, compassion, and a commitment to working alongside families during difficult times

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Location: Bacchus Marsh or Shepparton

EFT: 0.6-0.8 (flexible depending on your preference)

Type: Permanent ongoing

Pay: SCHADS Level 5.1-5.3

WFH: 1 day per week

Start: ASAP
