The Role

Toll People are currently seeking highly energetic dockhands, general hands and forklift drivers to register for casual on-call assignments in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region.

Candidates will be responsible for general warehousing tasks such as unloading/loading freight, scanning and sorting freight and picking orders.

These are casual on-call assignments only. If your registration is successful, you will receive job alerts with the details of the work available (duties, location, pay rate, shift times etc).

Key Responsibilities

• General warehousing duties
• Loading/unloading freight
• Stacking, scanning and wrapping freight on pallets
• Breaking down pallets/sorting freight
• Picking orders
• Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience

• Ability to keep up with the physical demands of manual handling tasks
• Flexible availability to work at short notice
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Awareness of OH+S Policies and Procedures
