About the role
In this Full-Time on-going opportunity, as the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner you will operate as an expert advisor and coach to People Leaders empowering them to build capability in talent decision making and lead in a way that is consistent with the City’s values, behaviours and leadership capabilities. The role will proactively identify and analyse organisational Talent Acquisition needs and develop and deliver solutions in partnership with People & Culture’s Centre’s of Excellence.

Classification: Commencing at $118,486.16 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with People Leaders and providing excellent service and advice to deliver end to end recruitment processes for a designated portfolio.
- Providing specialist advice and recommendations on hiring decisions to line management which is aligned with People and Culture’s people plan and the City’s business objectives.
- Acting as 2IC to the Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, focusing on executive recruitment, strategic projects, and training. Providing mentoring to the broader team and people leaders.
- Championing the City’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy by coaching and influencing People Leaders to make diverse hiring decisions.
- Creating and identifying insights that draw on internal and external benchmarks to drive innovative talent solutions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications and experience in business, human resources, or a similar field.
Essential Experience:
- Proven success and experience in the development of recruitment campaigns to achieve organisational People & Culture goals.
- Knowledge and proven experience in recruitment in a complex and often challenging environment.
- Demonstrated experience in project management in particular recruitment system implementation.
- Proven ability to lead and effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Highly developed interpersonal and representation skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internal and external
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
