About the role

Kcs Freight is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to join our team in Shepparton, Victoria. This is a full-time role responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods throughout regional Victoria and interstate. As an HC Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our logistics operations and delivering excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate heavy combination vehicles to transport goods in accordance with all relevant road rules and regulations

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and any defects are reported

Load and unload vehicles at pickup and delivery locations, ensuring cargo is secured properly

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating HC vehicles

Demonstrated experience in the road transport industry, preferably in a freight or logistics role

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of the local Shepparton region and surrounding areas
