About us:

Gladstone Hospital Gladstone Hospital is a 70-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including: Paediatrics, Neonates, Emergency, General Medicine and Surgery, Basic Orthopaedic, Clinical Investigation, Obstetrics, Maternity, Gynaecology, High-dependency and Coronary Care, Palliative Care, Medical Imaging, and Pathology. Additional services include Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs Service, Oral Health, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and outreach/community-based facilities, as well as a Primary Health Care Centre located at Boyne Valley.

About the role:

A Clinical Facilitator Grade 6 (1) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who:

1. provides nursing services in health service settings; and
2. is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care education and
3. Required to work a rotating roster inclusive of all shifts and weekends.
4. The activities required of roles at this level are predominantly clinical in nature, but also may provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management

The CF follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe, practice and services and workplaces.

About you:

• A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.

• Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $118,709 is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
