Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Take ownership of allocated audit assignments, carrying them out in alignment with overarching audit frameworks and direction provided by the Head of Audit.
• Develop clear, well-documented audit evidence that thoroughly supports your findings and provides a logical trail from issue to insight.
• Keep the Head of Audit regularly informed of progress, roadblocks, key discoveries, and when work is expected to wrap up.
• Capture audit results in a structured and meaningful way, outlining risks, impacts, and practical recommendations for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to review key insights and agree on next steps prior to formal reporting.
• Contribute to a variety of initiatives, including sensitive investigations, in collaboration with the team
• Play a role in embedding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) across the organisation

Profile

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA / CPA qualified
• Background in Big 4 / Mid tier is advantageous
• Experience in Logistics, Mining, Manufacturing or FMCG is highly desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Experience working in a large corporate environment
