Gas NRG Australia are offering two casual positions, between 30 and 38 hours a week, which will become permanent full-time for the right person. This job is based from a depot located in Paget, Mackay. There is flexibility with the job but you MUST also be able to complete the work efficiently, which means some days may be longer, whilst others will allow you an early knock-off.

Please do NOT apply for this job if it is not a long-term option for you. The job requires extensive practical/theory training by our contractor, which doesn't make the job feasible on a short-term basis.

You will be in face-to-face contact with customers throughout each day so it is important that you have a friendly and professional manner as the representative of the business.

Job Summary:

Delivery Drivers/Representatives are a key point of contact for our customers. They deliver LPG cylinders of varying sizes to our local residential and commercial customers. They are dedicated and responsible with a passion for safety and customer service. They enjoy working outdoors.

At Gas NRG Australia, our delivery driver/representatives:

• Drive a MR truck to deliver LPG to customers;

• Follow Gas NRG and all of Gas NRG contractor’s policies and procedures;

• Deliver LPG safely while wearing and using personal protective equipment;

• Enjoy interacting with customers and seek high levels of customer satisfaction;

• Stay organized and compliant by completing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner;

• Are willing and able to engage in vigorous activity on the job;

• Are willing to drive and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Education and Experience Required:

• You must have a valid Medium/Heavy Rigid vehicle licence;

• You must have no previous loss of licence and a clean driving record within the last 3 years;

• You must have previous experience and positions driving Medium/Heavy Rigid vehicles;

• You must hold a current Forklift ticket;

• You must be able to constantly lift 20KG LPG bottles at head height;

• You must be able to handle cylinders with a total weight of 90KG.
