Are you a specialist Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist looking for a new role and the opportunity to contribute to the outcomes of children, youth and their families within Queensland’s West Moreton region?

If you are passionate about ensuring high quality mental health care, implementing and supporting clinical models of care and patient safety initiatives, and providing clinical leadership across a large and diverse outer metro service then this role is for you.

Essential Requirements:

Hold, or be eligible to apply for, registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medial Board of Australia

Psychiatry Fellowship (FRANZCP) or equivalent, with a subspecialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Remuneration and Benefits:

Total remuneration range (inclusive of allowances) between $450k - $550k (AUD)

Generous leave entitlements including 17.5% loading on annual leave

To be successful in this role you will capability and interest to:

Provide expert leadership and transparent accountability for the clinical activity of the child and youth mental health team.

In collaboration with the Team Leader, provide leadership to the team regarding service improvements, evaluation and innovative treatments.

Contribute to the delivery of teaching for medical students, registrars and prevocational junior doctors within the Community Mental Health Service.

Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Demonstrate a commitment to clinical documentation standards and procedural guidelines.
