About the role

Method Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a client in Melbourne. This is a contract role, offering the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the company's innovative technology solutions.

What you'll be doing

Design and develop high-quality, scalable software applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Translating user journey/user delivery documentation into an expansion of the service’s user

Write and test code to implement API extensions and integrations

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve codebase

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience as a Software Developer

Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with Java, JavaScript and React being essential

Working experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools, and test automation.

Genuine interest in technology and aptitude for acquiring new skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
