The Organisation:
This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.
The Role:
As an APS5 Strategy Officer, you’ll contribute to strategic projects and be a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. You'll use your analytical and communication skills to provide informed advice, draft impactful materials, and support project delivery.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct structured analysis and develop recommendations for complex strategic problems.
- Draft reports, presentations, and communication materials for stakeholders and leadership.
- Present insights and facilitate discussions with internal teams and senior executives.
- Support strategic reporting, including regular updates and exception reports.
- Assist with project planning and management within the agency’s framework.
- Coordinate stakeholder event logistics and provide administrative support.
- Conduct desktop research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and prepare content briefs.
Ideal Candidate:
You will bring a mix of strategic thinking, project support, and stakeholder engagement experience. You’ll also be:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in project planning and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset with confidence to engage senior leadership.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive.
