Wymap People are seeking eager Freight Handlers to support a global Freight Forwarder for AM and PM shifts.

Wymap People have exciting casual opportunities for experienced freight handlers. Our client is a well-recognised company based in Perth Airport. We are looking for people who are punctual, work well in a team environment and can follow safe work procedures.

Role Description:

• Loading and unloading bulk containers safely and efficiently to ensure timely freight movement
• Utilizing RF scanners to track and update freight movements, ensuring accuracy in inventory management
• Labelling freight and parcels in accordance with company and client specifications
• Sorting freight and parcels based on size, destination, and priority to optimize delivery efficiency
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock replenishment, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety procedures
• Conducting basic quality control checks to verify freight condition and report any discrepancies
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys to facilitate freight movement
• Following workplace health and safety guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a secure working environment

To be successful in this Role:

• Warehouse or pick packing experience
• Works well in a team environments
• Must have 'Can do' attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Must be flexible to work Shifts - Monday - Friday
• Enjoy working in fast paced environments
• Must be willing to complete and pass a National Criminal History Check and Drug & Alcohol Test
• Willing to obtain an ASIC
