Role Overview: As an Emergency Nurse, you will work in acute settings, providing high-quality care to patients who present with a wide range of emergency conditions. You’ll need to be comfortable working with all types of emergency presentations, from trauma and medical emergencies to acute illnesses. In addition to emergency care, you will be expected to assist with onsite aged care patients, ensuring their clinical needs are met. Your ability to stay calm under pressure, make rapid assessments, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team will be essential.

Requirements:

Mandatory Certifications:

ALS (Advanced Life Support) Certificate with Resus experience

Triage Certificate and relevant triage experience

Experience:

Ideally, experience within a Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) setting, where you’ll be working across the entire facility, including aged care

Proven in-charge capability with the ability to manage and support nursing staff

Training & Systems Knowledge:

Experience with Sunrise and Leecare software (highly desirable)

Current AHPRA registration and working rights in Australia
