Mobile Screening was established in 1980 and has become a national provider of onsite workplace screening services to assist employers meet their work health and safety obligations and the implementation of employee wellbeing initiatives. Our services include noise assessments, hearing tests, air quality assessments, spirometry, skin checks and drug and alcohol screening.

We have thousands of active clients which diverse in industry (agriculture to food manufacturing to aviation), size (multinational, ASX listed and SMEs) and location (metropolitan, regional and remote).

Something to know first

We can structure this position to be casual, part time or full time. It would particularly suit someone who would like 2 or 3 days per week in the beginning, then potentially four days or full time in the future. Compressed days are possible too.

The ideal candidate will live in Sydney metropolitan area with some scope to attend regional clients involving an overnight stay, although this is not essential.

About the opportunity

We are seeking environmental scientists or occupational hygienists (or similar) who are skilled or interested in air quality assessments and/or noise assessments. Junior or senior experience is welcome.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Undertake air quality sampling / assessment according to standard operating procedure and report preparation for senior review.

Undertake noise sampling / assessment according to standard operating procedure and report preparation for senior review.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in or a related field to air quality or noise assessment (new graduates are still encouraged to apply)

Degree in environmental science / related discipline OR relevant training such as occupational hygiene

Ability to write reports based on data collected in the field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel and visit a range of clients

Driver's license
