The role of Production Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the plant in a safe and effective manner. With a strong commitment to the safe and efficient operation onsite, the Production Operator will contribute to the operations team and the broader QMAG business by embracing a collaborative and high performing culture.

About The Role

As the Production Operator you will be involved in:

Operation of fixed and mobile plant machinery with potential to move into Control Room Operations.

Mentoring fellow crew members in day-to-day operations.

Actively promote ideas and initiatives within your crew to improve performance and meet targets.

Participate in training opportunities to further develop your skills and progression within the business

The Requirements

We are looking for people with the following:

Experience operating and maintaining fixed and mobile equipment in an industrial mining or mineral processing environment would be desirable.

Exposure to SCADA Systems – Citect with Control Room experience

RII Qualifications or High-Risk Tickets for the following would be highly regarded:

Forklift (Essential)

Elevated Work Platform

Front End Loader

Confined Space or Working at Heights Certification

Remuneration

Attractive in town rate:

5 weeks Annual Leave per year

$33.00->$38.00/hr Base Rate

+ Leave Loading on Annual Leave

+ 11.5% Superannuation on hourly rate
