This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 April 2026.
What is our Clinical Midwife role?
As part of a multidisciplinary team, Clinical Midwife provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based midwifery/nursing care is delivered to patients. This role facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. In addition, Clinical Midwife practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Midwifery Practice Decision Flowchart.

Area Profile
In mid-2006, as part of the health reform in Western Australia, King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) joined with other women's based health services to form the new Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS), which is a part of the larger North Metropolitan Area Health Service (NMHS).
WNHS offer a maternity and gynaecology unit at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) which provides gynaecology care and obstetric care to women with low to moderate risk pregnancies. Women may choose to receive care at OPH for general convenience whilst receiving equally specialised care at a smaller suburban site.
