DWS is seeking a quality focused, enthusiastic Solutions Architect with extensive Wholesale Banking / Markets experience, specifically with a very strong background in Data Strategy. This role will be working at the highest levels, and across multiple streams including; the decommissioning of multiple legacy data systems and warehouses, migrating to new yet-to-be-determined systems, and developing a brand-new data strategy for the entire wholesale banking / markets line of business.

Salary: up to $220K (inc super)

Specific experience must include:

• Extensive Solutions Architecture experience (Data Solutions Architecture and Data Strategy)
• Substantial wholesale banking / markets experience
• Creating Data Strategy for an entire banking line of business
• An independent self-starter, able to take very high level ideas from stakeholders and singlehandedly convert into detailed and workable technical solutions
• Sole responsibility for the technical solutions and oversight of critical business systems
• Guiding stakeholders and internal functional business teams to develop a logical and coherent Data Strategy that also aligns with the enterprise strategy and technology roadmap
• Analysing business requirements and process initiatives, to produce High Level Designs (HLDS) and manage components of large initiatives
• Working as a crucial component of a project team responsible for decommissioning, developing, and migrating to new systems
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture including production of architecture models
