We’re currently seeking a Junior Associate to join our Mortgage Enforcement Team. This is a work-from-home position, offering high flexibility, strong support, and significant earning potential.

Structured Support: You'll be paired with a dedicated paralegal based in the Philippines to handle administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on high-level legal work. We also have in-house bookkeepers, systems support, and operations staff.
Flexible & Remote: While we have offices in Sydney and Tewantin (QLD), we are fundamentally a cloud-based firm. We operate via Actionstep, Google Workspace, DocuSign, PEXA, and other cloud tools to ensure seamless virtual operations.

Attractive Remuneration:
Base salary of $80,000 (gross) per annum
Fee share calculated and paid weekly
Once up to speed (typically 3–6 months), expected earnings of $150,000–$250,000, depending on how much work you take on.
What You’ll Do:
Draft pleadings and file documents with the court
Brief barristers and manage client files
Appear remotely in court
Work closely with experienced partners on real cases with real responsibility

About Bransgroves Lawyers
We specialise in mortgage law, asset protection and commercial litigation.
For the first half of the 2000s we specialised in acting on mortgage enforcements and advances for private lenders and mortgage funds. During this time construction finance and private loans formed a large part of our practice.
Over the course of the second half of the 2000s, we came to the attention of larger institutional lenders, who began to brief us on their more complex advances, enforcement and priority work. We also established one of the largest valuer negligence practices in the country.
As part of the fallout from the GFC in 2009 Bransgroves began to receive instructions from originators and aggregators in their disputes with wholesale funders.
Since 2011 our work in assisting lenders with their security documentation and underwriting procedures led to our offering a comprehensive compliance consultancy for retail mortgage funds.
Our practice now includes all of the above services.
