Scraper / Graders Operators – Rehabilitation – Days only

Minecon Recruitment have partner with a very highly respected Mining organisation to assist with the employment of Scraper /Grader Operators (Multi Skilled) to drive this rehabilitation program to successful completion. This exciting program will be based within the Moranbah region, QLD. This exciting program within the Moranbah region will be for minimum 2 – 5 months. Once this project comes to completion, there will be opportunity to transition across to the next project within the Moranbah region.

Positions available:

Scraper Operators (CAT 637)

Scraper Operators with Grader Experience (CAT 637 and CAT 16)

Please note that Operators must have experience operating Scrapers for both opportunities

Project commencement date: Late May this program will be commencing.

About these opportunities:

7:7 Day shift only roster (12-hour shifts)

Camp facilities, including an on-site gym and other perks

DIDO POSITION: however, there will be a bus supplied from camp to site

Multi Skilled Operator pay rate: $63.00

Rotation will commence Tuesday or Wednesday each round

Generous ‘Project Completion’ bonus + other benefits

Uniforms provided by the Contractor

Receive weekly pays

Superannuation paid on all rostered hours

Competencies and experience required:

Suitable candidates must have a minimum 12 month’s experience operating relevant machinery: Graders: CAT 16, Scrapers: CAT 637

Valid Drivers licence

Skills list signed by SSE or evidence

Standard 11 Certificate

Coal Board Medical

Proof of Australian working rights

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and undergo Drug and Alcohol assessments prior to commencement

Ability to commit to the full duration of the program (up to 5 months)

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Mining and Rehabilitation General Manager and Rehabilitation Supervisors - you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile plant machinery. Your responsibilities include collaborating with your team and the wider site to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality results.
