What’s the role?
News Corp Australia is seeking a motivated and proactive HR Advisor to join our collaborative PeopleConnect team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career HR professional with Workday experience to step into a business-facing role that supports leaders across the organisation with day-to-day HR guidance and delivery.

You'll work across a broad range of generalist HR activities — from employee lifecycle support and policy advice to performance and development initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring the effective use of Workday, supporting managers and employees through core processes and troubleshooting system issues where needed.

This is the perfect opportunity to expand your HR knowledge and gain hands-on experience partnering with the business in one of Australia’s most iconic media organisations.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day support and advice to managers on HR processes, policies, and employee relations matters.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders to support initiatives across performance, engagement, and talent.
  • Use Workday to support HR transactions, reporting, and data integrity, acting as a first point of contact for system-related queries.
  • Assist with employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contracts, changes, and exits.
  • Participate in project and continuous improvement work across the People & Culture function.

Who are you?

  • You have experience in an HR support or coordinator role and are ready to step into a HR Advisor role.
  • You are confident using Workday and enjoy helping others navigate HR systems and processes.
  • You’re passionate about people, with a strong customer service mindset and a collaborative approach.
  • You’re organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
  • You’re eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and dynamic team.
