About the Role:

• Located on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building, SkyPoint Bistro + Bar serves delightful breakfasts and all-day café-style dining, while our events team delivers exceptional experiences for plated dining, cocktail, and canapé events. As a qualified chef, you day will look like this:
• Preparing a variety of fresh and innovative dishes in a high-volume environment.
• Working closely with a team to deliver consistently excellent food and guest experiences.
• Follow and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in line with HACCP.

For your application to be considered you should:

• Have a strong background across, functions, a la carte service and/or café style service;
• Confident with high-volume food preparation and presentation;
• Qualified Cert III in Commercial Cookery;
• Calm under pressure, with a positive and reliable attitude;
• A team player with strong communication and attention to detail;
• Flexible with availability including ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, mornings and evenings;
• Physically fit for the demands of a busy kitchen;
• Knowledgeable in HACCP principles and food safety best practices.
