About the role

Join Jr presland Constructions pty Ltd' as a First year apprentice Carpenter in our Camden NSW 2570 office. This full-time role will see you start your career in the construction industry, learning the skills and techniques required to become a qualified carpenter.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced carpenters with the construction and installation of various building components

Learning how to use carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively

Gaining practical experience in measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and other materials

Participating in on-site construction projects under the supervision of skilled tradesmen

Attending off-site training to develop your theoretical knowledge and carpentry skills

What we're looking for

Someone with a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work

Good hand-eye coordination and basic mathematical skills

Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work on construction sites and in varying weather conditions

Willingness to work Saturdays as this is very important to my company
