Who We're Looking For!
We're on the hunt for a passionate OT with experience in community aged care. The successful candidate will be willing to support HCP and CHSP clients across metropolitan Adelaide (primarily in the outer Southern suburbs) on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.
Hours are negotiable subject to the successful applicant's availability and location.
What We Offer
Our team of Occupational Therapist's offer a geographical coverage across metropolitan Adelaide. This means that you will not be doing excessive travel as part of this role and instead, you will be seeing clients in your local area.
We do not set ambitious or unrealistic KPIs - our leadership team sets realistic expectations around work volume.
You'll have the autonomy to design your working week to align with your personal and professional commitments by scheduling your own assessments. You can choose whether you complete your report writing from the comfort of your home or whether you wish to utilise the space at our Semaphore Road office.
We also offer comprehensive clinical and administrative support, including report templates and resources to ensure you feel confident (and happy!) in your role.
Role remuneration is $90,000 - $95,000 FTE + car allowance + phone + laptop. Remuneration based on experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Scheduling appointments following receipt of new referrals.
Conducting in-home assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities in order to develop tailored recommendations to improve clients' functional abilities and independence.
Evaluating home environments for safety hazards and making recommendations to enhance clients' safety and independence.
Providing education to clients and their families regarding adaptive strategies and assistive devices and empowering clients to participate actively in their own care.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions.
Providing comprehensive assessment reports together with corresponding equipment and home modification follow up requests.
Your Checklist…
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration.
Valid Criminal History Check.
Senior first aid and CPR.
Own vehicle and valid driver's licence.
