The Opportunity
This is a rewarding opportunity for a Facilities Management professional to work in a highly collaborative and outcomes-focused environment.
You’ll contribute to the performance and strategic management of government-owned assets, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
The role will see you involved in high-level financial and asset reporting, providing a great platform to broaden your knowledge of government frameworks and financial management systems.
While this is a short-term opportunity through to 30 June 2025, it offers excellent exposure to the APS and could lead to future opportunities for high performers.
The Role
Provide expert facilities support across a diverse property portfolio:
- Report on client priorities and asset performance to the Building Management and Maintenance team
- Provide input and support in the development of the annual facilities management performance and improvement plan
- Manage operational budgets and forecast costs using financial management systems
- Support the preparation and submission of annual building budgets and works programs
The Ideal Person
You will be a proactive and solutions-oriented Facilities Manager with experience in the end-to-end coordination of building maintenance and asset performance.
Your strengths lie in strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight, ideally within a complex or government environment.
You will be comfortable using financial management systems and will be confident in your ability to support annual planning processes and reporting activities.
A strong sense of ownership and a team-first attitude will be highly valued, as will your ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver results within a short timeframe.
Salary / Rate
- $55/hr – $65/hr + Super
- Short-term labour hire contract with options to extend
- Immediate start on offer
