Tasks & responsibilities

Manage all sample order paperwork flows while ensuring warehouse processes are followed.

Prioritisation of workload to ensure a constant operational workflow.

Prepare picking slips and consignment notes for sample room and warehouse team members.

Troubleshoot any system-related issues or problems caused and record for feedback and reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor

Ensure all warehouse documents are filed promptly and chronologically to enable ease of access for all required.

Maintain accurate inventory records through administration of stock counts, especially for Sample Room

Liaise with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel when required.

Administer all transport bookings with carriers through EDI software or Online Portals

Administration recording and basic reporting as required

Monthly stocktake/cycle counts results and required adjustments

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 3-5 years experience in warehousing administration

Understanding of the chain of responsibility and obligations and legislative requirements

Sound knowledge of Health and safety compliance

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience in establishing and building strong relationships with customers

Strong planning, organisational and communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Enjoys a multi-skilled environment and is comfortable with incorporating change as part of an improvement and enhancement purpose

Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft & courier booking packages

Computer literacy
