The Role

Breast Imaging Victoria (BIV) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sonographer to join their warm and friendly multidisciplinary team. Previous breast sonography experience will be essential for this highly specialised opportunity. We provide a caring and supportive environment for team members to continue to learn and advance in their profession.

BIV provides a comprehensive service including ultrasound, mammography, contrast mammography, and biopsy procedures.

As the successful applicant, you will quickly become an integral part of a team of health professionals that pride themselves on providing quality breast radiology services to all our patients and referrers, in line with BIV’s values and behaviours.

Ideal Candidate:

• ASAR registration
• Experienced in breast and thyroid sonography
• Candidates with mammography training will be highly regarded, though it is not a prerequisite for application
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Have the enthusiasm to work in a team that strives for the highest level of image quality at all times
