Your Impact

As our new Lawyer – Education and Projects Officer, you’ll deliver legal services and lead training initiatives to empower frontline workers and improve community responses to violence.

Key responsibilities:

Provide legal advice, representation, and court support

Lead community legal education and develop training resources

Deliver outreach services in remote communities

Build stakeholder relationships and deliver professional training

Support audits of partner services and recommend improvements

What You’ll Need

Eligible to hold a NT Practising Certificate

1+ year post-admission legal experience

Strong communication and public speaking skills

Ability to work independently and in remote settings

Highly regarded:

Experience in community legal education or training

Knowledge of domestic, family, and sexual violence issues

Experience working with CALD or First Nations communities

This is a female-identified role under the Sex Discrimination Act (Sections 30 and 34).

You’ll need (or be able to obtain) a current NT Driver’s Licence, Ochre Card, and Police Check.
