Waste sorter required for busy facility located in Hemmant for an Immediaite start. . Sorting recyclables from conveyor line - fast moving conveyor, repetitive work, noisy and dusty environment.

You will also:

• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Undertake core sorting of Recyclable materials.
• Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required
• Audit waste as required by Local Council Representatives and clients, and provide accurate reporting as required on time to a high standard

Skills and experience

• Experience in the waste or other relevant industry is ideal
• Commitment to safety
• Ability to work autonomously or a part of a team

You will need:

• Your own reliable transport
• Drivers Licence
• Be able to work 5.30am to 2 pm
• Own PPE
• Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks - working on a sorting line for long periods of time can make you feel seasick
• High attention to detail
