We're hiring! The Marlow Hotel Group is on the lookout for a seasoned and people-focused General Manager to take the reins of one of Southern Sydney’s hidden gems – The Bank Tavern in Kogarah.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced GM who’s looking for a venue they can truly make their own, while enjoying a balanced lifestyle and a supportive, forward-thinking hospitality group behind them.

About the venue:
The Bank Tavern is a welcoming, smaller-format community pub featuring:

Two established bars

A compact, kitchen offering classic pub favourites

A modest gaming room with a loyal local following

A great reputation as a true local hangout

This isn’t a high-pressure, late-night party pub. It’s a community-driven venue with strong foundations, a great team, and room to grow – we’re looking for the right leader to help take it to the next level.

What we’re looking for:

Experience as a General Manager, Venue Manager or Licensee

Strong leadership and team development skills

A good understanding of gaming, bar and food operations

Commercial and compliance awareness (NSW regs)

Someone who leads from the floor, builds culture, and genuinely enjoys hospitality
