Marketing Manager – Digital, Brand and Community Engagement

Be Part of Something Bold and Purposeful!

At Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney, we’re rethinking hospitality—putting community, sustainability, and self-expression at the heart of everything we do. Designed to be of the community, not just in it, Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney will be the first of its kind in Australia, offering a vibrant, people-first experience that’s as much about connection as it is about comfort.

We’re now looking for a Marketing Manager – Digital, Brand & Community Engagement to join our pre-opening team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the voice, presence, and positioning of a hotel that puts people before process and storytelling before slogans.

Care Connects Us

At Hyatt, we believe in making people feel at home wherever they are in the world. We turn jobs into careers, encounters into experiences, and trips into journeys. Join a team that is making travel more human, connected, and sustainable. Here, everyone’s role matters, and your individuality is celebrated.

About Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney

Caption by Hyatt is not some basic hotel. Designed to be truly of the community—not just in it—the people make the place here. Our place is yours for the making, where you can do (and be) you.

Opening in 2025, Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney will feature 174 colourful, fun & eco-friendly guest rooms along with Talk Shop, our all-day lounge, social space and eatery. Expect authentic experiences in an environment where everyone feels at home.

The Flex You’ve Been Looking For

This is a part-time role, equivalent to 3 days per week or 6 days per fortnight—but you do you. We’re flexible, as long as you can align to the business needs and deliver what matters most.

Whether you’re building a side hustle, returning to work after a career break, balancing school drop-offs, or just value time for your creative pursuits, this could be the perfect fit. We’re all about real life, real people, and making great work.

While the hours are part-time, the impact is not—so we’re after someone with serious hustle—strategic, switched-on, and ready to lead from day one.

Why Join Us?

Shape a new hotel from the ground up – Be part of a pre-opening team and play a critical role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for owners, Hyatt, and the guest experience.

Make an impact beyond the hotel – Lead sustainability initiatives, safety programs, and compliance measures that positively contribute to the community and environment.

Support & Collaboration – Work closely with Hyatt’s Opening & Transitions team with regional Hyatt support to ensure you have the tools and resources to deliver a standout pre-opening experience.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager – Digital, Brand & Community Engagement, you’ll lead all hotel marketing activity—from brand visibility to digital campaigns, media relations to local partnerships.
