About the role

We are seeking an experienced HC/Semi Crane Operator to join our growing team at JADR TRANSPORT PTY LTD in Brendale, Queensland. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy commercial vehicles. You will play a crucial part in our road transport operations, ensuring the timely and reliable delivery of goods to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy commercial vehicles and semi-trailers safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles

Load and unload goods, using cranes and other equipment as required

Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and other documentation

Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and other team members

Adhere to all safety procedures and standards to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the public

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as an HC/Semi Crane Operator in the road transport industry

Valid HC driver's license and CV ticket for operating cranes

Strong understanding of road transport regulations, including fatigue management and load restraint requirements

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Good communication and teamwork skills
