About the company/role:
Our client, a local food manufacturer, is currently seeking multiple Packaging Operators for casual ongoing roles to commence immediately! Must have availability to work shifts on an ad-hoc basis, with both AM and PM shifts available. The roles require self-motivated people with excellent mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company with a friendly team environment!

Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Operate packaging and production machinery
• Package and box food products
• Identify and report quality issues as you work
• Assist with general warehouse duties

Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• Current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle
• Previous food manufacturing experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Previous packaging, production or warehousing experience
• An understanding of quality control
• A safety conscious attitude within a warehouse environment
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20-25kg
• A high attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
