About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our team on the Hervey Bay. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents in Residential Aged Care facilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist residents with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

· Provide emotional and social support to residents, enhancing their quality of life.

· Support residents with daily living activities, including meal assistance and light housekeeping.

· Assist with medication management (if qualified and trained).

· Follow care plans and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.

· Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.

· Adhere to workplace health and safety policies to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

· Minimum 1 year of experience in Residential Aged Care (mandatory).

· Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent (mandatory).

· Valid rights to work in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid visa with work rights).

· Current Police Check (mandatory).

· Work With Children Clearance (Blue Card) (mandatory).

· Medication Management certification (advantageous but not essential).

· Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
