About the role
This is a full-time Delivery Driver / Salesperson role based in Wonthaggi, VIC. You will be delivering furniture to customers of Melbourne Furnishing Co and assisting with in-store sales and customer service. This is a hands-on role that is crucial to providing an excellent customer experience.
What you'll be doing
Safely delivering furniture to customers' homes
Unloading and setting up purchased items in the customer's home
Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
Assisting with in-store sales by providing product information and advice
Maintaining the delivery van and ensuring it is well-stocked and presentable
Reporting any issues or feedback from customers to management
What we're looking for
A clean driving record and experience driving medium-sized delivery vehicles
Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and helpful experience
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre furniture
Flexibility to work Saturday mornings as required
