We have a vacancy for a Design & Technology Technician (School Workshop Assistant) commencing Term 2, 2025 (as soon as possible) at our Carramar Campus. This role will be working 5 days per week, term time only (0.8462FTE).
This role will oversee the everyday operational requirements of the workshop and be able to assist the teacher and students with the use of machinery and tools.

Selection Criteria (Each point to be addressed)
Trade qualifications would be viewed favourably
Hold a Working With Children Card and a National Police Clearance.
Teacher assistant qualifications which support a variety of technical disciplines
High levels of technical trades skills (wood; metal; automotive) as well as fabrication skills
Practical workshop experience
Ability to manage large Design and Technology workspaces
Experience working in a wood and metal workshop environment
Experience within a school Design and Technology department will be highly regarded
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Skill in modifying / re-designing a flexible practical workspace to meet the needs of students and teachers
Willingness to positively and actively contribute to the Christian culture of the School
Possession of a current Senior First Aid Certificate or the willingness to obtain one
CLOSING DATE - Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 9am.
Interviews will be held Tuesday 29th April 2025.
