About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at the Kirwan GP Clinic in Kirwan, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients and contribute to the overall success of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

Providing professional nursing care to patients, including administering medications, conducting clinical assessments, and assisting with medical procedures

Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation

Ensuring the clinic's medical equipment and supplies are well-stocked and properly maintained

Coordinating with the clinic's administrative team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations

Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in nursing

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a primary care or general practice setting

Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of nursing practices, procedures, and protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgements

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare-related software
