As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dietitian to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for participants, developing tailored dietary strategies to address their unique needs.
Monitor participants’ nutritional status and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with the broader care/support team.
Provide nutrition education to staff, residents/participants, and their families in NDIS settings.
Review and provide recommendations on meal audits, menu plans, and supplements as requested in various care environments.
Participate in ongoing communication with the care team and multidisciplinary team (MDT) to optimise participant care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
A membership to Dietitians Australia and the APD program (desired)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in disability healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic care.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex nutritional challenges.
Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for documentation and care tracking.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
