Hahn Electrical Contracting is an Australian owned and run company, established for over 30 years. An industry leader in our field, Hahn Electrical Contracting services major clients in the mining industry. We are looking for experienced Underground Mining Electricians to join our company.

The position:

Working closely with a supportive team you will be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance and statutory testing of surface and underground electrical infrastructure and equipment including but not limited to: switchboards, HV and LV supply cables, ventilation systems, communication systems and pumping systems etc you will perform and supervise a wide range of work including surface infrastructure, underground infrastructure, water supply, communications and high voltage transmission.

Underground mining experience essential.

To be suitable for this position you require the following:

Essential Criteria:

• A current WA Electrical Workers Licence
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (manual)
• Working at heights
• Current Police Clearance (no less than 3 months old)
• Current Senior First Aid / LV/CPR Rescue

Desirable:

• HV switching ticket (highly desirable)

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
